About Place2Be

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity with almost 30 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools.

Place2Be helps children to explore their emotions and feel better about themselves through talking, creative work and play.

Place2Be is there to help children find ways to cope, so their worries don’t get in the way of their friendships, their learning or how they feel about themselves.

Our Place2Be mental health Counsellor is called Gabby and will be in school on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.

Place2Talk

Place2Talk is a mental health service that allows pupils to make an appointment to spend 15–30 minutes with a trained counsellor, alone or with a friend, to discuss any issues they might have. Our school’s pastoral team or safeguarding staff members can also make referrals for children and young people where necessary.

The service aims to give our children the tools and skills they need to deal with their problems in a healthy and constructive way. It is issue-based and solution-focused.
