Commando Joe’s: ‘No Child Left Behind’
At Northern Saints CE Academy, we have implemented the Commando Joe’s programme as a key aspect of our character education offer.
The Commando Joe’s Programme is designed to support all staff and pupils, alongside supporting parents at home. During Commando Joe’s sessions, we underpin the values: courtesy, respect, truthfulness, courage, generosity, determination and resilience. We focus on working as a team to tackle difficult ‘missions’ set by an inspirational person. In these lessons, we delve into the meaning of each value and how these values can help us in our future lives; ensuring ALL our children are prepared well for ALL future endeavours.
